Sponsoring a Graduating Senior's Fee

Our process is simple yet impactful: our dedicated staff coordinate with representatives from three local high schools, who identify graduating seniors facing challenges in covering their graduation fees. These seniors, who have communicated their financial constraints, are then presented as candidates for support.

Once the number of seniors in need is determined, we initiate a community-wide fundraising effort. Generous donations from alumni, community members, and supporters are the driving force of this initiative. Every contribution, regardless of size, funds our shared goal of ensuring that no graduating senior is hindered from participating in the joyous milestones of their senior.

Upon successfully raising the necessary funds, REACH provides the sponsored amount directly to the respective high schools to ensure a seamless and efficient process, directly benefiting the identified seniors.

The Ryan Underwood Serfas Scholarship

Our donation process is designed to directly address the unique needs of each graduating senior.

Our Director maintains close communication with school staff to identify a graduating senior who meets the criteria for the Ryan Underwood Serfas Scholarship. The REACH Director then engages directly with the student to create a personalized senior needs package. The Director carefully estimates the associated costs for items such as cap and gown, formal and casual photos, yearbook, and club activities fees, etc. Once the customized package is defined, we launch a fundraising campaign to gather the necessary funds. Your donations contribute to making this tailored package a reality. It's important to note that funds raised are not given directly to the student; rather, they are disbursed directly to the vendors providing the services, guaranteeing that the support is channeled efficiently and effectively.
