Ryan Serfas, Executive Director of REACH, is not just a visionary leader but also a proud Shelbyville native and Cascade High School alumni. With a passion for giving back to the community that shaped her, Ryan's journey embodies the spirit of community engagement and support.

Armed with a Bachelor's in Recreation Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master's in Human Services from Lubbock Christian University. Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to her role. Her academic background reflects a commitment to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of individuals, aligning perfectly with REACH's mission.

Ryan's commitment to community service took a personal turn in 2017 when she initiated a senior graduation fee sponsorship with Cascade's bookkeeper. This meaningful step was inspired by her own experiences as a senior, navigating the challenges of distinguishing needs from wants during this pivotal and exciting time. Ryan's sponsorship program, which began as a reflection of her own journey, has grown into a cornerstone of REACH's efforts to support graduating seniors.

Ryan continues to steer REACH towards new heights, ensuring that the organization remains a beacon of support for those navigating life's transitions. Through her leadership, REACH embodies the values of empathy, community, and empowerment, making a lasting impact on the lives of those it serves.
